Job description
Newlands Golf & Country Club is hiring a Bar Manager in Langley, BC — permanent, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
- Evaluate daily operations.
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
- Monitor staff performance.
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Recruit staff.
- Set staff work schedules.
- Supervise staff.
- Train staff.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Establish operational procedures.
What you'll need
- Language of work: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Serving It Right Certificate
