Job description
Salt Spring Wild Cider has 3 openings for Cook in Salt Spring Island, BC — permanent, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
- Determine the size of food portions and costs.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Recruit and hire staff.
- Manage kitchen operations.
