Job description
Harajuku Izakaya, Ohyama Ramen, Fuji Market has 2 openings for First Cook in Whistler, BC — permanent, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
- Co-ordinate special events.
- Determine the size of food portions and costs.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Manage kitchen operations.
What you'll need
- Language of work: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work setting: Staff accommodation available
